My friend Gracie came to stay with me this week. She must have heard about my illness and wanted to comfort me with her uneaten kibble sweet presence. No one told me she was coming, so I was very pleasantly surprised when Mom and I got home from work today.
It might be a givaway if her stomach growls, though.

The Scotties do the same thing with crate that Sophie uses When she leaves it, they have to see if she got something special or if anything is hidden. Enjoy your company.

Yes, I do keep busy checking her food bowl. And no, you are not super Lexi, I am Super Lexi. Didn’t you see my outfit?

It is nice to have visitors when you are a bit unwell. ❤

That’s a really good idea. I am not getting treats right now because of the mouth surgery, and they are all put away. I have watched that she doesn’t get any of my new canned food, though. We can take friendship only so far.

I bet you could get it undone with your strong beak. Oh, we had a little bird visitor in our bedroom last night. After an hour with directional brooms and moving furniture, we finally got him/her back out the door.

How fun! A visitor is a good diversion. But always be careful with your cone, L. Those things can be wily.
Love and licks,
