Group Photo Shoot

Mom tried to get all three of us – me, my guy, and my little sis – in a picture together. She has a new respect for all you peeps who do this on a regular basis. Here’s how it all started…

Xena: Hi Mom! Will you take my picture? Maybe another cuteness picture?

And continued…

Mom: That’s a great idea, Xena. In fact, I want to get pictures of all of you together.

Lucy: I don’t feel like getting my picture taken.

Riley: Me neither.

Mom: Come on you guys…it will be fun!

Lucy: I don’t want to do this today. And I don’t see any treats.

Xena: Is that a bug or part of the carpet? I think I’ll hop on it.

Mom: Xena, stay where you are.  Riley, come on and get in the picture.

Mom: Lucy and Riley, you can do better than that! Look how nicely your little sister is posing.

Xena: I think it might be a bug. One of those ladybugs.

Lucy: Where?

Mom: Xena! Lucy! Look at me.

Mom: Riley, buddy. Do you think you could show less enthusiasm?

Riley: No. And I know sarcasm when I hear it.

Alas, exhausted from their failed photo shoot, all dogs fell asleep. And thus ends another attempt at a group photo card.

  2. It was so much easier with just Lexi. She was like a pro. Xena’s getting good at it, but wants to run to me when I get down low. And Lucy gets afraid. I guess it’s a challenge…

  3. What do you dogs think we are going to do…actually hurt you with the camera? Ugh! Why can’t you all just pose for us like my first schnauzer Freda did, and Lexi the schnauzer did, and now Xena the schnauzer is starting to do? Wait. I see a pattern here. Because you’re not schnauzers! I, too, am persistent. You will probably see more of those looks before we are done!

  4. My humom couldn’t stop snickering at Riley and Lucy’s faces because that’s exactly how I look when she wants to take group photos (if there is no treat dangling in front of me). My humom knows exactly what you are going through. It is a very frustrating experience but I keep hoping she’ll eventually get so discouraged she won’t try anymore…unfortunately she is very persistent….She encourages you to keep at it because when you get that perfect photo all the effort would have been worth it!

  6. A photo shoot with no treats is doomed to fail! Even with only one doggie, Mom knows she has to show up with a pocket-full of treats! That said, you kids are all adorable, even in the bloopers.

  7. Ha, ha, only on Lexi, who turned into a statue and would not move. Piper and Milo were in different places in each picture. Good memories.

  8. Boy, does that look familiar! Group shots, ok any shots are hard. Amy, you’ve got some good real life photos showing off each pup’s personality. Good job! ~Margret
