Happy Daddy’s Day

Piper reminded me that today we are all celebrating our Dads. Piper and Ella love their Dad, and with their Mom’s help, they got him something special. BTW (I found out that means By The Way…cool, huh!), their last name is Smart. Look close at the shirt.

Me and Xena, we wanted to do something special for our Dad, too, but our Mom’s not as good at this as our Auntie Jen. Next year we’re gonna ask Auntie Jen to help us! Oh, wait, Mom is making him a tomato pie with a homemade gluten-free crust. That’s what he’s been asking for and the fruit and veggies are scrumdili-ishus this year. I bet Mom will make peach pies this year too. And fried green tomatoes and…

Xena: Lucy, you’re drooling on the keyboard.

Lucy: Oh, sorry. What I’m saying is, Mommy will tell him that we asked her to make the special tomato pie. And we got him this card. 

Mom’s going to help us customize it.  And after Dad and Mom( get back from church, we’re going to spend the whole day together.

Xena: Why does Mommy have to help us do everything?

Lucy: She has credit cards.

Xena: I am smart, you know. Just like cousins Piper and Ella. I bet I could get one of those credit cards. I saw a picture of Angel Lexi with one. Then we could do anything we want.

Lucy: NOT a good idea, Xexe. Butt if you do, get one for me, too.
