Riley’s Dr. Seussisms

Just a few years ago I ran with abandon. Now I follow this Dr. Seussism.

Well, all except when I run to the back chain link fence to have fun barking viciously at the neighbor dogs.

And I’ve decided this is a good one for me, too!

I bet I could take that black and white boxer mix on the other side of the fence. But I wouldn’t want to hurt him, so we’ll just have fun barking at each other.

I’m thankful that I live where I can run with abandon (under the watchful eyes of Mom Amy) or walk with care, and am loved for who I am, no matter what shape I’m in!

Happy Dr. Seuss Day, my friends! *wags* Riley

Thanks loads to my buddy Brian of Brian’s Home for hosting Thankful Thursday, and my little friends Macy and Maxwell, also of Brian’s Home, for hosting Dr. Seuss Day.

  2. Lulu: “Well you know! The neighbor dogs need to know where they stand! And where they stand is someplace where we can’t see them, am I right, Riley?”
Charlee: “Your second Dr. Seuss quote reminds our Dada of an old Kenny Rogers song he heard in the movie ‘The Big Lebowski’ about how ‘I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in’.”
    Java Bean: “Yeah?”
    Charlee: “Yeah.”
    Chaplin: “🎵 Oh yeahhhhh … 🎵”

  3. Our Mama feels your pain Riley…well except the whole barking at the neighbor dog thing. Although we TOTALLY get that, barking at the back fence neighbors is da best…even if Mama doesn’t like it much BOL!

  4. Boces to tell you that he will be 10 on his next birthday which is in October and he knows exactly what you mean and how you feel and that he loves you as much as his mama loves him. And mom says she is so very thankful that she found all of you for friends because we enjoy reading and hearing about your life.
