Lucy and Grodd

Did you know that there are eating turkeys and singing turkeys, and we should never get them mixed up? Not long before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. of A., a singing turkey invaded my home. Here is my  first encounter with him.

That’s me barking. I had to be brave for my little sis. She was counting on me. Finally, Thanksgiving was over and the Singing Turkey went away – at least for another year – without any casualties.

I didn’t think ahead to the dangers lurking around the house during the Christmas season. I’ve already told you about the Monster Tree. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when a Singing Gorilla showed up. Of course, Xena immediately claimed him and named him. Grodd. But Grodd likes melot, as you can hear, here.

Love and wags, Lucy, the love interest of Grodd

  1. Charlee: “Our Dada says, wow, that turkey is a real headbanger!”
Chaplin: “Then he said the turkey should be playing metal, banging his head like that!”
Charlee: “We don’t know what ‘playing metal’ or ‘head banging’ means but we’re pretty sure we wouldn’t like it.”

  3. Hi Ginny. Thanks so much for the kind words. Lucy is looking forward to her first date with Big Boy. She asked if you would send her a good email address for Big Boy, to Lexi’s email: lexitheschnauzer at gmail dot com.

  5. Lucy you are getting braver every day…That is so nice to see. We had a singing and dancing Christmas Schnauzer that the dogs really really didn’t like. I walked out of the room and they had turned him to snow I think they had flashbacks of Furby when they were babies. So we don’t have anymore singing, or dancing creatures. Glad you have a Christmas gorilla.

  6. HI Princess Leah. We don’t chew our stuffies. Well, they are mostly Xena’s stuffies, ’cause I don’t really care about them. And that turkey, well, I don’t think I want to get that close to him! Lucy

  7. I did not know about singing turkeys. after watching you with the gorilla Lucy, you are the perfect girlfriend for me, so hugs from your Big Boy in Florida. Mama said your eyes are just like mine and that is exactly what I would do if I saw a gorilla…

  8. Just watch your back with these singing creatures. Once they start singing (or worse – singing and DANCING) there’s no telling what’s next! Grodd looks pretty chill, bit you never know…
